With over 1,500 participants in 2019, Conference on the maritime economy confirmed their status as the main annual event for the French maritime community. This recognition and success have grown steadily since 2005, the year the "Assises" were launched.

Over the past fifteen editions of this major maritime event, the following have taken place two Presidents of the Republic, including Emmanuel Macron for the 2019 edition, four Prime Ministers, a President of the National Assembly and around thirty ministers who came to present their vision of the marine economy to French decision-makers from the public and private sectors.

Some of the biggest names in the maritime industry have also been regular contributors:

  • Patrick Boissier,
  • Jacques de Chateauvieux,
  • Philippe Louis-Dreyfus,
  • Frédéric Moncany de Saint-Aignan,
  • Yves Lyon Caen,
  • Hervé Guillou,
  • Admiral Bernard Rogel
  • Annette Roux,
  • Jacques and Rodolphe Saadé,
  • Francis Vallat,
  • Admiral Christophe Prazuck,

  • Gérard Romiti...

to name but a few.

But the "Assises" are not just a place for debate and showcasing concepts. The networking dimension is an important part of the event's DNA. Breaks between conferences, sit-down lunches and a prestigious evening offer plenty of opportunities to develop your address book and close business deals.
