The European challenges of cyber security

Organised under the aegis of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), the course entitled "The European challenges of cyber security began on 3 November 2020 with a speech by Carlo Natale, Deputy Director of the ESDC.

Prepared and run by the IHEDN's Department of Europe and International Affairs (DEAI), in partnership with the Portuguese National Defence Institute (IDN), this session is being held online for health reasons. This course, which alternates a rich programme of presentations and round tables, will be held over two and a half days and will bring together 48 participants from various European Union Member States.

The content of this course will enable students to familiarise themselves with all the diplomatic, institutional, legal and operational issues relating to the integration of cyber security at EU level.

Within the framework of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), the "Challenges of European cybersecurity" course has started on this morning with an opening speech of Mr. Carlo Natale, deputy head of ESDC.

Prepared and conducted by the Department of Europe and International Affairs of IHEDN, together with the Portuguese National Defence Institute (IDN), this session is held online for health reasons. This course, which will alternate presentations and round tables will last two and a half days and will gather 48 participants from different Member States of the European Union.

The content of this course will thus allow participants to become acquainted with diplomatic, institutional, legal and operational issues related to cybersecurity at EU level.
