Corinne Breuzé is a graduate of the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Literal Arabic) and holds a Licence ès Lettres (Modern Literature and Arabic). She is Minister Plenipotentiary of 1era class.

She began her career in central government (North Africa and the Middle East) in 1984.

From 1985 to 1986She was appointed Second Secretary at the French Embassy in Tripoli, then First Secretary in the same post from 1986 to 1988.

She was then appointed Deputy Consul at the Consulate General in Rome from 1988 to 1992.

Returning to the central administration in Paris in 1992, Corinne Breuzé assisted the prefect in charge of coordinating the free movement of people within the EEC until 1994.

In 1994She then joined the cabinet of the Minister for European Affairs as technical adviser, before being appointed deputy head of the department for foreigners in France, where she was in charge of foreigners in France until 1995.

From 1995 to 1997She was appointed deputy cultural advisor in Brasilia, then cultural, scientific and cooperation advisor in the same post from 1997 to 1999.

From September 1999In 2002, she was appointed deputy director of consular administration and property protection in the Department of French Nationals Abroad and Consular Administration at the head office in Paris.

Consulate General in Casablanca from 2002 to 2005, she was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kuwait from 2005 to 2007.

In May 2007, she was successively seconded as diplomatic adviser to the office of the Minister of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-development, then to the office of the Minister of Labour, Social Relations, the Family, Solidarity and Cities (January to June 2009) and to the Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities from June to August 2009.

From 2009 to 2013, she was ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Amman in Jordan.

In February 2013, she was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Jakarta, Indonesia, before being appointed Ambassador of France to Dili, East Timor, in July 2013, and representative to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) until 2016.

In November 2016, she became a special adviser at the International Diplomatic Academy in Paris.

From 1 September 2018, she has been seconded to the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) to perform the duties of diplomatic adviser and deputy director of the IHEDN, responsible for "International Activities".

Corinne Breuzé is a Knight of the National Order of Merit, Knight of the Legion of Honour, Commander in the Order of the Wissam Alaouite (Morocco) and 1st Degree in the Order of the Wissam of Independence (Jordan).
