The 3e week of the 32e The European Session of Senior Armaments Officials (SERA32) was held in Prague from 15 to 19 November.
The Czech week began with presentations by representatives of the Czech Ministry of Defence, including Ms Radka KONDERLOVÁDeputy Minister of Defence for Industrial Cooperation, the Lt-Gen Jaromír ZUNAVice-Chief of the General Staff and Ms Sabina ANSIELMO VIEIRAHead of the International Cooperation Department within the Ministry's Defence Strategy and Policy Division.
The programme also included a number of visits, including one to theELI Beamlinesan international laser research centre, the HiLASE laboratorya scientific research centre attached to the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Technical University of Prague. The visit by the SERA32 in Prague was also an opportunity to discover (and also test in a dedicated weapons room) the products designed and offered by the Česká zbrojovka Group.
Finally, this Czech week of SERA32 gave the auditors the opportunity to continue their reflections and discussions within their respective committees. The conclusions of these exchanges and their work will be presented during the fourth and final week of the session, scheduled to take place in France from 6 to 10 December.
The third week of the SERA 32 program has been held in Prague, from November 15 to November 19. This week in the Czech Republic began with a number of presentations from representatives from the Czech MoD, such as Mrs. Radka KONDERLOVÁ, Deputy Minister of Defence for Industrial Cooperation, Lt. Gen. Jaromír ZUNA, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic, but also Mrs. Sabina ANSELMO VIEIRA, Head of Unit for International Cooperation within the Defence Policy and Strategy Division of the Ministry.
The SERA32 Czech program also included visits of the ELI Beamlines research centre, specialised in laser systems, the HiLASE centreaffiliated with the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and of the Czech Technical University in Prague. The SERA32 delegation also had the opportunity, during its stay in the Czech capital, to discover (but also to test in real conditions at the Prague Armory) the products developed by the Česká zbrojovka Group.
Finally, this Czech week provided an occasion to continue discussions within the different committees, in the perspective of the French week of the program, scheduled from December 6 to December 10, and during which attendees will present their respective conclusions and group works.
