The 41 listeners of 227e session in the Ile-de-France region of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale continued the programme this week, with high-level conferences, committee work and visits.
Two visits were carried out on 1er June. The memorial sequence at the Mont-Valérien Memorial in the footsteps of those shot in the Second World War left a lasting impression on listeners. A minute's silence was observed in the clearing to pay tribute to those who were shot.
The audience was then welcomed by Mr GentileDirector of the Roissy Border Police (PAF).
He presented the challenges of the very large international flows from an international hub such as Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport. The audience had access to 1re and 2e border lines, and looked at passenger flow management, the fight against document fraud and airport security.
