Thursday 17th NovemberAt the same time, auditors from the EDA major were invited to Exail (a new entity recently formed from the alliance between ECA Robotics and IXblue) for a presentation of its expertise in underwater mine countermeasures systems and autonomous deep-sea drones.

Returning to the Toulon naval base in the afternoon, the audience was given a presentation on the challenges of maintaining the Navy in operational condition by IGA Guillaume de Garidel-Thonon, central director of the fleet support service. This lecture was rounded off by IC1ETA Laurent Duchesne, head of infrastructure and operations, before embarking on a tour of the Vauban docks, which house the Navy's ships during repair and renovation periods.

Finally, the EDA major was welcomed on board the amphibious helicopter carrier DIXMUDE, which she visited before touring the nuclear attack submarine Casabianca and the submarine navigation school, which trains submarine crews.

This mission enabled the two majors to discover, in situ and in real scale, the capabilities of the Navy, but also the links with the naval industry.
