Current international events are leading to a a general increase in defence investmentparticularly in Europe.
The academic work carried out by the Chair since it was set up in 2014 are providing shedding light on the effects of defence spending on the defence technological and industrial base (DTIB) and on the economy as a whole.
Researchers from the Chair will offer a summary of results obtained in the literature and will give keys to understanding mechanisms in action. Their analysis will focus on the short-term and long-term effects, at both national and regional level.
