Against a backdrop of increased capability requirements, the DGA is looking to recruit a specific reserve of 3,000 people in areas of the defence industry. This would cover everything from army equipment and navy logistics to munitions production. Initial agreements have been signed with Scania (production of transport vehicles). The aim is to be able to call on competent personnel in the event of a major crisis.
