Maritime routes are the lifeblood of the global economy, and protecting them is a major strategic challenge. Seas and oceans are also areas of confrontation between nations and areas of expansion for crime. Reservoirs of wealth that arouse covetousness, maritime spaces are impacted by climate change and are subject to predation, which means that resources and biodiversity need to be protected. France has the 2nd largest Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), including 97% off our overseas territories. issues and strategies\" major <\/strong>brings auditors from French overseas territories together with auditors from mainland France at the back-to-school seminar and on four major assignments in the programme <strong>(approximately 30 days of classroom sessions)<\/strong>.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">These missions are supplemented by seminars tailored to the needs of overseas auditors in major French ports (Brest, Toulon, Marseille, Dunkirk\/Boulogne) to enable them to make visits that cannot be shared by video.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to these periods of presence in mainland France, conference debates and committee meetings are followed by listeners in the French overseas territories via live streaming or recorded
