The training provided as part of the national session is designed to enable all students to grasp from the outset the cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary, interministerial, European and international dimensions of defence and security issues through a common foundation and in-depth study of 5 major areas (Armament and the Defence Economy, Economic Defence and Security, Maritime Issues and Strategies, Defence Policy, Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity).<\/p><\/div><div id=\"id-64954bf4869dd\" class=\"text-clamp--hiddentext fr-mt-2w\" tabindex=\"-1\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The IHEDN, working to build and disseminate a common defence culture, helps to forge lasting links between senior public and private, civilian and military in the design of the session, in consultation with the operations manager; ;<\/li><li>Involvement in the recruitment process for auditors: collecting and following up on applications, communicating with candidates; ;<\/li><li>Under the supervision of the operations manager and following consultation with the head of teaching, checks that application files are complete; ;<\/li><li>Proposals for conference topics and speakers in accordance with the programme; ;<\/li><li>Compiling and updating bibliographies, drafting the auditor\u2019s handbook\u2026; ;<\/li><li>Production, proofreading, layout and distribution of the preparatory documents to the relevant recipients.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><div id=\"id-6a35538925f63\" class=\"text-clamp--hiddentext fr-mb-0\" tabindex=\"-1\"><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Organisation of session management activities :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Preparing and managing the administrative documents required to run the session\u2019s activities: biodata forms, attendance sheets, etc.; ;<\/li><li>Designing topics for committee assignments, in consultation with the operations manager and the academic manager; ;<\/li><li>Organising and managing the session\u2019s activities (missions, participation in the institute\u2019s activities, etc.), with the support of the logistics department; ;<\/li><li>Updating programmes in real time in response to unforeseen circumstances, in consultation with the operations manager; ;<\/li><li>Preparing conference rooms with the appropriate IT equipment (microphones, projectors, videoconferencing, etc.); ;<\/li><li>Organising the reception of visitors and, where applicable, officials in connection with the firm; ;<\/li><li>Organising transport (aircraft, trains, buses, etc.) in coordination with the brand team of the General Officer for the Defence and Security Zone; ;<\/li><li>Preparation of welcome packs and\/or bags to be handed out during the training course.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Session communication officer :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Regular reporting on the session\u2019s activities, in particular the drafting of news briefs following each activity during the session, in collaboration with the Department of Institutional Relations and Communications; ;<\/li><li>Drafting letters of thanks to the authorities after each trip away; ;<\/li><li>Taking part in promotional activities for the courses, including manning stands at trade fairs; ;<\/li><li>Depending on requirements, the project manager also contributes to the
