The aim of the course was to raise awareness of the importance of space activities in the context of CSDP and the future of the EU, and to initiate constructive exchanges between representatives of different Member States. It also gave participants a clearer picture of European and international space policies.<\/p><p>The first day of the course provided a general overview of the European Union's space strategy, in terms of initiatives, programmes, players and challenges for space security. The second day focused on partnership and cooperation in this field. It focused on national space policies in Europe and their specific features, as well as on the international dimension of cooperation on space security. It enabled participants to form a broad overview of international space policies.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0 The first day of the course focused on a general overview of the European Union's space strategy, in terms of initiatives and actors, challenges to space security and the presentation of different space programs.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0 The second day of the course dealt with partnership and cooperation.
