The IHEDN and the Institute of Higher Studies of the Ministry of the Interior (IHEMI) have renewed their partnership, under the auspices of the Defence Academy of the \u00c9cole Militaire (ACADEM), to mark the 163rd \u2018Cycle Jeunes\u2019 programme in \u00cele-de-France.<\/p>

Over the course of a week, this joint session brought together 81 participants with a shared objective: to develop a common understanding of the security-defence-justice continuum and to gain a better grasp of the challenges facing our country.<\/p>

The programme included lectures, debates, workshops and committee sessions, providing an opportunity to explore in greater depth the major issues relating to defence, security, diplomacy and international cooperation. Through these discussions, participants deepened their understanding of contemporary challenges whilst formulating ideas and concrete proposals to promote better cooperation between the various stakeholders.<\/p>

The training course was structured around three main areas:<\/p>

  1. Strategic issues; ;<\/li>
  2. Knowledge of security and defence equipment; ;<\/li>
  3. New threats.<\/li><\/ol>
