This fourth volume marks the end of this story of the\u00a0Worlds at war<\/span><\/em>\u00a0From 1945 onwards, nuclear weapons changed the situation and security challenges became global. From the Cold War and the wars of decolonisation to peacekeeping operations under the aegis of the UN, the fight against terrorism and the emergence of new fields of action (space and cyber), everyday life in the world seems to have tipped over into a period of neither war nor peace, characterised by the frequency of military operations. After the opening chapters, which set the scene for events, the authors offer some cultural, political, legal, strategic and technical reflections, revealing all the nuances and contradictions of this fourth age of war.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
