Drawing on a study of the origins of the conflict and end-of-war theories, the text explains that lasting peace in Ukraine can only be achieved by setting up a credible Ukrainian deterrent force and overhauling Moscow's neo-imperialism. In addition to these short-term theoretical points, the author emphasises third-party intervention as one of the possible solutions.
