The book selects the main elements structuring European security in 2021. As well as presenting the EU's main interactions with a range of non-European players, it focuses on three themes: crisis management, security challenges (hybrid threats, cyber security, terrorism and extremism), and defence cooperation (the Strategic Compass, Permanent Structured Cooperation, military mobility, etc.).
