From 25 to 30 April 2022, the Ecole Militaire hosted the 130e cycle Jeunes Ile-de-France de l'IHEDN. It brought together 77 young people, both working people and students, aged between 20 and 30, with a shared interest in defence, national security and international relations issues.
The young auditors were able to take advantage of the IHEDN's characteristic educational triptych: reflection in committees leading to the drafting of a position paper; high-level conference-debates; visits to defence industrial sites (Ariane Group, MBDA, Nexter and Thalès) as well as a military site (Orléans-Bricy Air Base 123).
On Saturday 30 April, the end-of-cycle session was held at the Cercle National des Armées, where the work of the committees was presented in the presence of Jean-Michel Delvert, sub-prefect, head of the IHEDN's regional and specialised activities department, and Annie Jafalian, from the studies and research department.
The IHEDN's youth programme has been awarded France Compétences certification.
