The "Armaments and Defence Economics International Session" for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia opened today, Monday 28 September, with a speech by Lt-Gen Patrick Destremau. IGA Thomas LORNE then presented the DGA's missions.
This session, organised by the IHEDN's Department of Europe and International Affairs in conjunction with the DGA, brings together 8 auditors from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Ukraine. A virtual programme has also been set up to enable auditors who are unable to travel to France given the current health situation to attend the session. The programme will include lectures, as well as visits to industrial and military sites.
The International Session "Armament & Defence Economics" for Eastern Europe, Caucasus & Central Asia officially began this morning. Eight (8) attendees (from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Ukraine) have travelled to Paris in order to attend this session which for the first time can also be virtually followed. This international session will centre around conferences, keynote speeches and visits of industries and military sites.
