IHEDN - 3ème journée innovations métallurgiques pour l’industrie de la défense
Strategic metals and alloys for the defence industry
IHEDN-3e journée innovations métallurgiques pour l’industrie de la défense
Tuesday 12 October 2021
Military School
amphi. FOCH

pre-registration : cemetaux@emse.fr

Event organised by CEM, IHEDN, DGA, ONERA and Aubert & Duval

This one-day event, devoted primarily to the aerospace industry, focuses on two themes: innovative surface treatments and environmental issues, which are currently of major importance, and advances in the field of metallic materials, in particular materials with high mechanical properties when hot and for ballistic protection, and the contributions of digital simulation, additive manufacturing, friction assembly and expertise in impact physics. It's an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas between producers of high-performance metal alloys, defence manufacturers, research bodies and technical centres, as well as public and private institutions linked to the world of defence. This day is an opportunity to highlight the synergies to be developed between metallurgy, the defence industry and the world of innovation and research.
