The ceremony was held at dusk, at the foot of the monument dedicated to the Bretons of Free France, on the Pointe de Pen-Hir. In the presence of the mayor of Camaret-sur-Mer, students from the "Maritime Issues and Strategies" major and their supervisors paid their respects at this memorial site. The occasion was marked by the reading of a letter (2S) Michel Delion, Director General of the Mission Libération, and an introductory speech by Vice-Admiral (2S) Franck Baduel, Head of the Major.
At the end of the ceremony, Admiral (2S) Alain Oudot de Dainville, tutor to the major, and Vice-Admiral Baduel, accompanied by the mayor of Camaret and Caroline Campodarve-Puente, first deputy mayor of Rochefort and departmental councillor for Charente-Maritime, laid two wreaths at the foot of the monument in tribute to the two Breton Resistance fighters. The gathering concluded with an a cappella rendition of the Marseillaise, in a solemn and contemplative atmosphere. Through this tribute, the IHEDN and the elected representatives present affirmed the need to pass on to future generations the memory of the Resistance fighters who fought for freedom.
