Monday 25 October saw the start of the 14e cycle IHEDN-Jeunes, Grandes écoles.
In his opening speech, Lt-Gen Benoît DurieuxDirector of the IHEDN, outlined the major issues in national defence and security.
The 76 students from the Grandes Ecoles taking part in this course will discover different aspects of national, European and international strategy in the fields of defence and security.
So, at the end of the morning, they were able to take advantage of an initial conference given by Mr. Pierre Grosserassociate professor at Sciences Po Paris.
Aimed at students from schools belonging to the Conférence des grandes écolesThe 5-day programme includes high-level lectures, a visit to a military site and committee work.
