
Held from 29 June to 1er July la 3e edition of the pilot course on The European Union's energy security and its implications for CSDP " (EU Energy Security_Implications for CSDP), organised by the Europe and International Affairs Department of the IHEDN, under the aegis of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC). This pilot course, which brought together some fifteen participants, many of them specialists in European energy issues, was structured around 8 lectures.
The 3e edition of this pilot course will have provided an opportunity to discuss issues relating to the Green Pact for Europe (European Green Deal), European energy diplomacy, national energy transition strategies within the European Union, as well as the geopolitics of so-called critical raw materials, energy infrastructures in the Baltic Sea region and, finally, the importance of the energy factor in military operations and the issues surrounding the principle of a 'green' European defence.
