On Monday 15 February 2021, Lt-Gen Patrick Destremau signed the partnership agreement between the IHEDN and the MEAE in the company of Ambassador Gilles Garachon, the MEAE's Director of Human Resources. Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, to continue the many training initiatives for the diplomats of the Quai d'Orsay.
Every year, two Ministry staff take part in the Institute's national sessions.
The Department of Europe and International Affairs also organises targeted training courses for diplomats in-house at the Diplomatic and Consular Institute.
