NATO's enhanced Forward Presence_French & Polish Perspectives
On 9 July 2021, the last edition of Franco-Polish webinars before the summer break on the following theme, NATO's enhanced Forward Presence_French & Polish Perspectivesorganised by the French Embassy in Poland, in partnership with the Europe and International Affairs Department of the IHEDN, the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University, the New Europe Institute (Instytut Nowej Europy - INE) and the Polish media Defence 24.
Following introductory speeches by Mr Nicolas MASLOWSKI, Director of the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University, Ms Odette TOMESCU-HATTO, Deputy Director of the Europe and International Affairs Department at the IHEDN, and Ms Christina VENARD, Research Fellow at the European Affairs Office at the IHEDN, the conference was opened by the following speakers Odette TOMESCU-HATTO, Deputy Director of the Europe and International Affairs Department of the IHEDN, and Christina VENARD, Research Fellow in the European Affairs Office of the IHEDN, Dr. Jacek RAUBO (Defence 24) and Mrs Anna CHERNER-DRIEUX, Political Counsellor at the French Embassy in Poland, Dr Amélie ZIMA (researcher at the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University), Dr Aleksander OLECH (Director of the 'European Security' programme at the 'New Europe' Institute); Instytut Nowej Europy - INE), Dr. Wojciech LORENZ (analysis within the 'International Security' programme of the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM - Polski Instytut Spraw Międzynarodowych), Dr. Marek MADEJ (University of Warsaw) and Dr. Beata GÓRKA-WINTER (European Centre of the University of Warsaw).
Following their respective presentations, the various speakers were able to exchange views and debate, under the moderation of Mr Jacek RAUBO.
