The IHEDN's economic intelligence courses have resumed with the opening of the 73rd Economic and Strategic Intelligence (IES) course on Tuesday 8 June 2021.
The cycle was opened by Mr Jean-Michel DELVERT, Deputy Prefect, Head of the Regional and Specialised Activities Department (DRS). The opening lecture on intelligence and economic security was given by Ms Axelle DEGANS, Professor and Doctor of Geopolitics. Public policy on national and territorial security was presented by both the Strategic Information and Economic Security Department (SISSE) of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, and Ms Anne-Sophie COLLEAUX (ANSSI).
The 21 participants in the IES cycle will spend 7 days (49 hours of lessons) learning about intelligence, strategic information, cybersecurity, ethics and compliance, economic security, influence strategies and the control of foreign investment in France.
They will also be working on the overall safety and security of companies, with contributions from the Club des Directeurs de Sécurité et de Sûreté des Entreprises (CDSE), a partner of the Institute.
