The 223rd session in the PACA region was kicked off on 21 September 2021 at Nice City Hall by the Prefect of the French department of Ecology and Sustainable Development. Denis CONUSdeputy director of IHEDN, in the presence of Mr Anthony BORRE, 1st deputy mayor, Mrs Véronique BORRE representing the President of the Regional Council and Marie-Christine FIX, Delegate for Veterans and the Army-Nation link.
Coming from a variety of professional backgrounds, the auditors embark on 4 intense weeks of reflection and sharing on national defence and security issues.
Visiting 4 towns in the PACA region (Nice, Gap, Toulon and Marseille), the auditors will also have the opportunity to discuss defence and security issues at regional level.
The session is built around high-level conferences, visits to emblematic strategic sites and committee work.
