The author analyses the operations of the Russian intelligence services on the African continent and presents them as one of the Kremlin's levers of influence in this area. He looks in particular at the role of intelligence in the security cooperation offered by Russia to the various African countries. The article uses the cases of the Central African Republic and Madagascar to illustrate these activities.
