In asserting the need for a profound and collective change of culture, this document sets out the redefinition of the DGA's missions around five main axes: equipping and supporting armed forces in a sovereign manner by ensuring state prime contractorship of the defence system; providing a strategic technological and industrial anticipation capability that contributes to national defence and security; promoting a pragmatic approach to cooperation and supporting exports; guiding and supporting the defence industrial base in a sovereignty-based approach; maintaining the basis of nuclear deterrence and developing the Ministry of Defence's cyber capability for the benefit of national security.
