The second of the four weeks of 227e he session of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) in the Ile-de-France region ended on Friday 20 May in Lorient.
The 41 listeners enjoyed a wide-ranging lecture on the fusiliers-commandos force and a number of operational visits: the Monge, the naval action force's test and measurement ship, the Lann Bihoué naval air base in Lorient, its air-sea surveillance unit and its customs coastguard service.
