The IHEDN's DSE major concluded its mission in Normandy with a very busy sequence organised by the regional prefecture in Rouen.
Issues facing the regional aeronautics industry (NAE), the exemplary case of the bug-bounty start-up YesWeHack, energy and transformation issues, the organisation and players involved in economic security in the region, and finally a visit to Ariane Group in Vernon.

visit to Naval Group's Cherbourg site
On 4 April, the DSE (Defence and Economic Security) major from the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) visited Naval Group's Cherbourg site. The auditors were impressed by this flagship of the Defence Technological Industrial Base (DTIB), an essential component of our sovereignty, where the Barracuda nuclear-powered submarines are built, and which is preparing for future generations of submarines, the new-generation nuclear-powered submarines (SNLE).Exceptional visit of the integration and assembly halls, steel forming and section construction, and the deconstruction hold for the SNLE Foudroyant. The IHEDN would like to extend its warmest thanks to Naval Group and in particular to Jean-Luc France, site director, for his warm welcome and this memorable visit to the heart of deterrence and essential know-how.
Reception at the residence of the Maritime Prefect (PREMAR) in Cherbourg
On 4 April, the Defence and Economic Security (DSE) major of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN), was received by the Maritime Prefect (PREMAR) of Cherbourg at his residence, a first for the IHEDN.
With a presentation of the missions, a cocktail reception and historical reminders based on objects from the Soleil Royal flagship, the audience enjoyed a particularly special moment hosted by Admiral Philippe Dutrieux, to whom we extend our warmest thanks.
HAROPA PORT
Continuation of the Normandy mission of the IHEDN DSE major: we were received by the HAROPA PORT entity, which brings together the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris around a major industrial, environmental and multimodal massification ambition in the service of sovereignty. There was also an impressive tour of the Port of Le Havre, whose facilities stretch over an area 27 km by 6 km! A stopover in tune with the challenges of economic security.
