The Russian-Belarusian Rapprochement : Polish and French Perspectives

On Wednesday 19 May 2021, the French-Polish webinar on relations between Russia and Belarus was held, organised by the French Embassy in Poland, in partnership with the IHEDN Department of Europe and International Affairs and the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University.

Following the introductory speeches by Mr Nicolas MASLOWSKI, Director of the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University, Mr Nicolas DE LACOSTE, French Ambassador to Belarus, Ms Anna CHERNER-DRIEUX, Political Counsellor at the French Embassy in Poland and Ms Mélissa LEVAILLANT, Deputy Director of the IHEDN Studies and Research Department, the first speakers were Mr Wojciech KONUŃCZUK, Director of the IHEDN Studies and Research Department. Mélissa LEVAILLANT, Deputy Director of the Department of Studies and Research at the IHEDN, were joined by Wojciech KONUŃCZUK, Deputy Director of the Centre for Oriental Studies (OSW) and Jerzy NOWAKOWSKI, former Polish Ambassador to Latvia and Armenia, and Dr Anaïs MARIN, researcher at the Centre for French Civilisation at Warsaw University. The debates were moderated by Mélissa LEVAILLANT.
