Welcomed by the defence mission in Seoul, she was received at the French embassy, where she was given a speech by the director of international cooperation at the Korean ministry of defence, a presentation of the space division, followed by a presentation of Korean space policy by Mr LEE, president of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).
This first day ended with a welcome cocktail in the new embassy, inaugurated the previous month.
The following day was devoted firstly to a visit to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), the equivalent of the DGA in Korea, and then to presentations by French companies present in Seoul (Thales, Airbus, Lacroix, AXA).
On Saturday, the IHEDN delegation was able to visit the demilitarised zone (DMZ) separating North and South Korea.
On Monday 15 May, the students and management of the 59th EDA Major, accompanied by His Excellency the French Ambassador Philippe LEFORT and the Defence Attaché Colonel Frédéric ETTORI, visited the HANWHA Aerospace industrial site for a presentation of the group.
The delegation was then welcomed at KAI Aerospace.
