Rights without borders. Geopolitics of extraterritoriality

Demystifying the case often made for the extraterritorial application of US law, the author of this book highlights a fundamental trend: the general expansion of the extraterritoriality of the law of the major geopolitical groupings. In his view, the extraterritoriality of law is the natural response to the discrepancy between the globalisation of the world and the territorial fragmentation of political power, and serves as a spearhead for the gradual harmonisation of international rules within states governed by the rule of law.
