Because the wealth of our country is also to be found in our regions, the IHEDN is organising its second IES cycle in the regions after Lyon in December 2023. The 16 students will learn more about the challenges of economic and digital sovereignty through 49 hours of training divided into different modules, including :
- Economic security, with government action to protect and promote French businesses;
- Intelligence and OSINT, with tools and levers for capturing and analysing open-source information;
- Cybersecurity and digital sovereignty, with an organisation's ability to control its digital risks;
- Crisis management, where auditors will have to deal with a cascade of crises and the challenge will be to prioritise information;
- Legal intelligence, which will focus on the challenges of lawfare and war through standards;
- And influence and lobbying, to understand the levers and methods of influence, public communication and lobbying used by organisations at national and international level.
- A real-life committee topic based on quantum computing and the case study of Quobly;
- A visit to the Talence Optics Institute, which focuses on research and training in optics and photonics, with a particular emphasis on quantum computing, developing technologies and algorithms based on the principles of quantum physics for advanced computing and communication applications.
Encouraging a wide range of backgrounds, IES courses make students aware of the importance and consequences of economic warfare, where France can only rely on itself.
As a unique, high-quality public training programme, the IES cycles are the ideal place to encourage public-private exchanges and raise awareness of the threats facing economic players both internationally and within our borders.
IHEDN has developed this course in partnership with the main government departments involved in economic security issues, such as the General Secretariat for National Defence and Security (SGDSN), the Defence Intelligence and Security Directorate (DRSD), the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA), the General Directorate for Armaments (DGA) and the Strategic Information and Economic Security Service (SISSE).
Through its various courses, the IHEDN plays a central role in the training of executives and decision-makers in the service of national security and defence.
