From 28 May to 5 June 2024, the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) is hosting the 84th Economic and Strategic Intelligence (IES) certification course. This intensive 49-hour course is organised in close collaboration with government departments involved in economic security issues.

Chartres hosts the 238e session in the Centre-Val de Loire region

On Tuesday 21 May, 49 new auditors were welcomed to the Eure-et-Loir Prefecture to take part in the opening of this 238th session in the region. The programme for the next four weeks includes lectures on France's strategic challenges, visits to industrial and military sites and discovery of the institutional players in defence and security.

Mission to Estonia and Finland for the Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity major

From 12 to 19 May, students in the Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity (SNC) major at the IHEDN national session visited Estonia and Finland. This mission enabled the auditors to become more aware of cyber and digital issues and to gain a better understanding of the new geopolitical configuration of the two countries, imposed by Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

The European Armaments Managers session is traditionally based around 4 weeks of training, 2 weeks in France and 2 weeks in Sweden. This year they will be travelling to Austria and Sweden. This session brings together 85 auditors from 24 countries and 6 international institutions. The aim of this session is to discuss current European defence issues.
