For the 3rd time in fifteen months, the IHEDN has headed overseas to organise a new regional session, the 237th, in French Polynesia. The session opened on 6 March at the Tahiti Museum, in the presence of Prefect Éric Spitz, High Commissioner of the Republic in French Polynesia, and Rear-Admiral Geoffroy d'Andigné, COMSUP FAPF.

Closure of the 236th session in the Grand Est region in Strasbourg
The 236th session in the Grand Est region ended on Friday 16 February in Strasbourg. For 4 weeks, 43 students were trained in the military and industrial challenges facing France and the region.

The 43 auditors met from 6 to 9 February 2024 for the 3rd week of the 236th session in the Grand-Est region. The programme included a welcome at the Préfecture des Vosges, visits to military and industrial sites and lectures, providing an in-depth strategic perspective of the region.

The 153 students in the Defence Policy (POLDEF) and Armaments and Defence Economics (AED) majors met in Brussels from 7 to 9 February to deepen their understanding of the European institutions and NATO.

The 43 listeners met again from 23 to 26 January 2024 for the 2nd week of the 236e session in the Grand Est region. On the programme: conferences on France's strategic challenges, visits to industrial and military sites and discovery of the institutional players in defence and security.

The 234e session in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region ended in Lyon on 15 December. Committee work, collective reflection, field visits... These four weeks of training enabled 50 participants to learn about France's military and industrial challenges.
The "Maritime issues and strategies" major on the ground in Brittany
To deepen their knowledge of the French Navy, the students in the ESM major of the national session travelled to Brest and Lorient for two days of conferences, visits and exchanges at close quarters with the naval forces.
